Time Clock

A new take on an old solution… A traditional timeclock, or ‘bundy clock’ for capturing staff attendance was historically the only option. Our systems adopt the same principal as a traditional time clock – but using modern technology such as fingerscan units, in conjunction with software which calculates employee hours, overtime and allowances, which cuts out hours of time and manual steps.


Time Tracking

Using fingerscan or swipe units to capture employee attendance is the most accurate way of time tracking. For supervisors and payroll staff, that can mean a huge amount of time is saved. Physically collecting manual timesheets or timecards is no longer an issue, and our systems will calculate the employee hours and awards automatically. Scheduling employees with our system is easy – no more messy Excel spreadsheets. And our software can even email reports automatically to supervisors with any exceptions to the daily schedule – so you don’t have to rely on memory or refer to the spreadsheet rosters.


Time and Attendance

You may be unsure of the term ‘Time & Attendance’. This is a term to describe the preparation that goes into payroll – the scheduling or rostering of employees, the obtaining of the actual hours worked, or their ‘attendance’, the calculation of those hours and overtimes/allowances that correspond to the schedules they work. For instance, Tom is scheduled to work 4 day shifts for which he gets a flat hourly rate, and 1 night shift, where he gets 1 meal allowance and overtime on top of his hourly rate. An iDtec system can calculate this automatically based on parameters or ‘rules’ that we put in place specifically for your organisation.
